As part of the HHRF, HETI and CZU International Conference, we invite you to take part in a selection of additional activities designed to enrich your stay in Prague.

Alongside the scientific programme focused on research, collaboration, and the human–equine connection, we have prepared opportunities to explore the city, connect with colleagues in a relaxed setting, and enjoy shared experiences.

Discover Prague – Guided City Tour

Join us for a FREE guided tour through the historic heart of Prague, one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.

You will explore:

  • The Old Town and its iconic square
  • Charles Bridge and riverside views
  • Prague Castle surroundings
  • Hidden streets and local atmosphere

This tour offers a perfect introduction to the city’s history, architecture, and culture.

Ideal for: first-time visitors and anyone wishing to explore Prague beyond the conference venue. Open to all conference participants and accompanying persons
Options: Friday afternoon (18 Sep)  or Sunday afternoon (20 Sep)
Price: Guided by the CZU university students as a gesture of welcome - free of charge.

Friday Experience – Special Excursion

Start your symposium experience with a special Friday excursion that combines professional interests, culture, and relaxation.

The programme and price include (9am-6pm)

This excursion offers a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues in a smaller group setting while experiencing the local environment.

Open to: all conference participants and accompanying persons

Note: Transport and detailed programme will be provided after registration.
Price: 60 EUR

Friday Evening – Informal Meet-Up

Join us for a relaxed and friendly evening at a local restaurant on the university campus.

This informal gathering offers a lovely opportunity to meet colleagues, reconnect with friends, or make new connections before the conference begins.

Open to: all conference participants and accompanying persons

Please note: A reservation is required so we can inform the restaurant of the number of participants.
Food and drinks will be ordered individually from the menu and paid for at your own expense.

Saturday Evening – Raut & Dance

After a full day of presentations, join us for a relaxed and enjoyable evening with colleagues from around the world.

The evening includes:

  • Buffet dinner
  • Informal networking
  • Music and dancing

This is a unique opportunity to connect, exchange experiences, and celebrate our shared work in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Dress code: smart casual

Are the social events included in the conference registration?

No, all social events and additional activities are optional and require separate booking. This allows participants to choose only the experiences that suit them best.

How do I book and pay for the activities?

All activities can be booked directly through this page. Payment is processed via Svítání to make it simple and accessible.

What is included in the Friday evening meet-up?

The Friday evening gathering is an informal reservation at a local restaurant on the university campus. Food and drinks are not included and will be ordered individually from the menu at your own expense.

Can I join the activities if I am accompanying a participant?

Yes, accompanying persons are welcome to join the social programme, subject to availability. These activities are designed to be enjoyable for both participants and their guests.
