Experiences Shared by Our Participants

Even though I am already a therapist practising Equine Assisted Services, I felt this course was absolutely worthwhile. It covered a variety of topics and is very comprehensive. The content complemented and supported my practice, as well as expanded my knowledge related to equines, gait, positioning, etc. It was also helpful in improving my clinical reasoning in some cases, giving me new ideas for my practice and clients. The teaching method is perfect for the daily hustle and allows us to study at our own pace. The practical weekend consolidated the knowledge acquired online and allowed for the sharing of knowledge, practices and ideas, in addition to clarifying doubts.

An excellent theoretical opportunity to complement and consolidate knowledge. A positive and constructive training environment. An experienced training group, enabling the exchange of experiences and openness to future connections. A team of competent trainers with strong command of the topics addressed. A complete training setting with the ability to adapt to challenges posed by adverse weather conditions. Congratulations, and onwards to the future in the development of EAS at both national and international levels.

I think the organisation was good! The host – Carlos – is a very caring guy. I liked very much the way he worked with the autistic kid. It was clear – the relation and friendship he already established with him, and the results are already guaranteed. I think it was very helpful and educational for our team, despite it is a basic course and we already have some experience in this field and we already had some of the content in our practice, it is still the best way to refresh, to improve, to strengthen our skills. Věra is a professional, which we would like to follow in our future and will try to extend our cooperation. The connections that we created are priceless. I truly believe it will be fruitful for our mutual future. Thank you!

Very informative! It was really good to connect with like-minded people and I feel like the course was very fruitful and I took a lot from it. Online modules were very well presented and I really enjoyed the practical aspect also. Both Vera and Carlos were very welcoming and ready to answer and assist.

I’m deeply grateful for the enriching weekend spent with Svitani, exploring the core principles of equine assisted therapy. The training provided not only a solid theoretical foundation, but also meaningful experiential learning that allowed me to connect more deeply with both the horses and the therapeutic process. Thank you for the inspiration, insight, and shared humanity.

A great seminar with great ideas, approaches and instructors. The most important thing for me is that I met people who share the same philosophy and professionalism, and we could understand each other so easily, as if we’ve known each other for years.

Attending this course and spending the weekend in Malta was an amazing learning opportunity. It offered enough details and covered a lot of areas, but the best part was having the opportunity to share experiences and learn from different professionals. I am looking forward to having the chance to attend more courses and I am grateful for this one-of-a-kind experience.

The course was very informative and detailed. It was also written in a very understandable way and everything was well explained. These 2 practical days gave me an extra insight and more ideas. It was a very good summary of the whole course plus having hands-on practice which helped me to understand more. Thank you for your dedication, as it was so informative for a good price.

I had chosen the course to gain more knowledge in the field of EAS since I started working as a horse leader. I am happy that I was able to learn from Vera’s impressive expertise in the field of hippotherapy. A good mix of theory, practice and exchanging experiences made the course enriching. I would recommend the course to everyone who is interested in working in EAS.

I enrolled in the basic EAT course with leaders Vera and Carlos. The course was quite useful for me even though I already had basic knowledge on the subject. I met other people from other countries who were willing to exchange experiences. Vera and Carlos were quite patient with us, they explained everything to us well enough and in an accessible way. I had the opportunity to touch their world, from their point of view, for which I am incredibly grateful to them!

Even if I knew some of the themes we were discussing at the course, I was surprised again by all the new things, tips, ideas and knowledge I met here. The way all the information that was given to us on theory and practice, even specific physical and learning specialists, was understandable and useful for me – just a horse person. The most beautiful for me was the knowledge we are not alone. We have the support of all the participants and lecturers. New friendships happened. I feel much more brave and confident that we are on the right way. Thank you!
Maria Nestorova Конна база Кичево, Bulgaria
I really liked the practical part of the course. I appreciate the fact that we were given the opportunity to observe a real session, to share opinions, ask questions, even give examples of our own experience. A lot of new information for me was given, including recommendations for the equipment needed for therapy. We all shared useful information regarding the topic and the group was nice, cooperative and easygoing.

As an inspiring student and growing citizen, this course was very insightful and well detailed. It met and even exceeded my expectations in terms of details and knowledge included. I would highly recommend for anyone considering that line of work or even as a general hobby.

We have just completed a two-day workshop with Dr. Beth Macauley, a world-renowned speech therapy specialist who also works with horses. While I do not intend to become a speech therapist, I learned many valuable things that will help me in my practice as an equestrian. I gained insights into language development and how to assist individuals, especially children, who have difficulties with expression and communication with the horse.
Laurence IkanEquestrian and Trainer in Therapeutic Riding, Israel
I attended a course with the incredible Dr. Beth Macauley, focused on speech therapy using horses, and it was truly outstanding. I highly recommend it to anyone working with clients who have speech difficulties. Beth is amazing, and she demonstrates how speech therapy can achieve remarkable results. I expected to learn new approaches for working with children with conditions such as dysphasia or speech apraxia. Everything I learned during this course will undoubtedly be useful in my practice. Beth showed me how small techniques can lead to significant changes, and I am excited to apply them with my clients.

Thank you for your presentation, nice examples and a lot of information. I especially enjoyed the last minutes where you stated “opening the box” only if you are able to handle it! That should be a statement!

I recently attended the AI/Chat GPT webinar and I must say it was an enlightening experience. The speakers provided a comprehensive overview of AI capabilities and applications. If I hesitated until then, I am currently using the AI/Chat GPT capabilities and know that I am surprised and very satisfied with the results.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for organizing and delivering the fantastic webinar on Chat GPT and other diverse applications. The session was incredibly informative and well-presented. As a PT specialized in Hippotherapy and a leader in a few organizations, I have found Chat GPT to be an invaluable tool in my work. It has not only simplified my daily tasks but has also significantly saved my precious time. I must admit that I frequently utilize Chat GPT now, and it has become an indispensable asset in my practice. Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks for sharing your expertise and knowledge during the webinar. Your dedication to educating professionals in the field is truly commendable. Looking forward to staying connected and learning more from your future webinars and updates.

EAOT was such an inspiring and creative course. It was a big opportunity to improve my own practice and learn new skills. Audrey's voice was so calming, clear, and peaceful. Enjoyed listening. She is so helpful and available for all questions. This course was more than I expected. Help me to understand how sensory processing is fundamental and the importance of client-centered practice. Also how to use groundwork, engage, and empower children to overcome fear of being on the horse.

The most inspiring thing was seeing the progress of the little ones in a few therapy sessions and the enthusiasm of the parents about the effectiveness of the therapy. The course days were quite long and hard (thanks to the language) after the day my brain was either dead or in a coma. I came to the course to find inspiration and deepen my therapy skills, in an area that was not so familiar (small children/babies) purely out of curiosity, I didn't know about this until my college Elina told me. I have been doing physiotherapy for over 15 years, mostly with adults/young neurological (6-16 years) and also seniors, riding therapy for over 10 years and lymphatic therapy for 13 years. So my own field of activity is wide, partly due to my location.
Kicka Physiotherapist, Finnland
I applied for the course as I always want to deepen my understanding and skills in hippotherapy and enhance my practice and better serve my patients. I expected to gain practical insights, learn new techniques, and be together with other experienced therapists as it finally happened so What inspired me the most was the innovative approaches presented and the passion of the presenters The course broadened my perspective, introduced me to new methodologies, and encouraged me to incorporate new ideas into my therapeutic sessions.

Great course, even if I don't work primarily with babies I can also take a lot away for older children. Thank you very much!
JudithPhysiotherapist, Austria
It’s so nice to see that babies go forward with three days and 6 therapy sessions💖. Nothing is so effective than horse movement in therapy. So much sensory input, symmetrive rhytmical movement that those babies really need to go forward.
Participant EAT Application for Infants and Toddlers
A fantastic course with lots of interesting theory and useful practise. The tutors were clearly very experienced and able to teach in an understandable and simple way, patiently answering all our questions. And the children....it was lovely to see them improve so much over the 4 days! The 5 month old girl impressed me the most. The effect hippotherapy has on such small babies! I highly recommend this course. It is already changing my practice.

It was great experience for me! I learnt a lot! I am absolutely impressed by your work! I have never seen so much structure, methodology, understanding and clear goals in a Hippotherapy treatment. Admiration for being so professional! The course definitely changed my work and understanding of the hippotherapy processes and I came home with those changes and a lot of motivation to keep going trough the miracles that the horses are for the children with special needs. Thank you once again Vera, Tereza and Anna, you are really great practitioners and educators!
VeselinaPsychologist, Bulgaria
First of all I want to thank you for this most interesting course. It has been a real eye opener concerning hippotherapy in toddlers. I really liked the approach you use towards children as well as horses. From what I've seen so far, it is the method that fits most into my own way of thinking. Therefore I am really excited to learn more about your approach.
